San Francisco African American Health Disparity Project
The Hospital Council of Northern and Central California and all the hospitals of San Francisco joined together in 2002 to form the African American Health Disparity Project. This projects aims at making the lives of African Americans better by focusing on their health. It supports programs to increase access to health care, decrease the rates of chronic and communicable disease and reduce violence.
