The Perinatal Learning Session provided the practical information necessary to assist hospitals in reducing perinatal birth trauma through implementation of evidenced-based practice bundles.

Participants  received the necessary training, education and tools to implement the Induction, Augmentation and Vacuum Bundles, along with the elimination of elective deliveries prior to 39 weeks gestation. In addition, participants received training and education in the concepts and application of Performance Improvement in clinical settings, standardized communication and teamwork as it applies to the improvement of perinatal care.
