On Monday, May 8, 2006, a meeting of Bay Area Laboratory Leaders was held. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and develop concrete plans to increase the number of Clinical Laboratory Scientists in the Bay Area and to determine other practical steps the HLWI should take to increase the number of students entering the CLS field.
