Case Management Transformation Initiative (CMTI)
The 2011 CMTI participants experienced ROIs ranging from
$50,000 to more than $1 million annualized revenue increase and
cost decreases. This exciting program assesses
each facility’s current program and then works to define
metrics, goals and measurable results. This program
utilizes a standard data download from each facility to analyze
current needs, opportunities and Best Practices and then defines
goals for your hospital to ensure the program is meaningful among
a diverse group. Each participating hospital receives
access to a unique website designed specifically for the CMTI
program, which provides all supporting resources and materials to
support facility’s in their transformations.
The Case Management Transformation Initiative (CMTI) powered by Marsh is a Hospital Council of Northern and Central California fee-for-service program developed by The Hospital Council and Marsh Risk Consulting’s Clinical Health Care Consulting Practice. CMTI is a nine-month, results-oriented transformation initiative that will provide hospitals with the tools to transform their current case management function into a comprehensive physician-centric, outcomes-based program designed to promote high quality outcomes while enhancing revenue and improving patient and physician satisfaction.
This nine month initiative combines onsite collaborative work sessions, interactive web-based learning sessions, individual onsite consulting days and measurable outcomes and successes!
Case Management, when it is outcomes-based and proactive, has the ability to positively affect patient outcomes, physician, staff and patient satisfaction, revenue, quality metrics, value based purchasing scores and mitigate risks, including those related to the current RAC and Medicaid RAC audits.
